Structured cabling in Gaborone
Copper and fibre, containment, racks and patch panels, installed for offices in Gaborone and across Botswana. Every link tested, every port labelled at both ends, and the labels written down in a schedule you keep.
What the work covers
Cabling is the layer everything else in the office sits on: the phones, the computers, the Wi-Fi, the reception tablet. It is also the layer that is most expensive to get wrong, because once the ceilings are closed and the desks are in, fixing it means opening everything up again.
Copper to the desk
Cat6 or Cat6A from the cabinet to every outlet: desks, wireless access points, printers, the reception counter and the meeting room. Runs are planned for what the office will need, not only what it has today, so the next new desk is a patch lead rather than a new cable pull.
Fibre backbone
Where an office spans floors or buildings, a fibre backbone links the cabinets. Fibre also covers the runs that are too long, or too close to electrical plant, for copper to be reliable.
Containment, racks and cabinets
Trunking, tray and conduit, so cables are carried and protected rather than draped across a ceiling. Floor-standing racks or wall cabinets, patch panels, cable management and power, dressed so a technician can work inside them without unplugging the wrong thing.
Testing and handover
Every link is tested before sign-off. Every port is labelled at both ends, and you get an as-built schedule: which outlet goes to which panel port, room by room. Two years later, when someone needs to know which port feeds the boardroom, they read it off the schedule instead of tracing a cable by hand.
Existing installations
Not every job is a new building. We add outlets to a working office, re-cable rooms after a move or a refit, and untangle cabinets that have grown without a plan: trace, re-patch, re-label, and write down what is actually there.

Questions we get asked
4 ENTRIES
Q.01 Can you cable an office before we move in?
Yes, and it is the best time to do it. With empty rooms and open ceilings, the runs go where they should and the work does not interrupt anyone. Send the floor plan and where the desks will go, and we plan the outlets from that.
Q.02 Can you fix a cabinet someone else installed?
Yes. We trace what is there, remove dead cables, re-patch, label both ends and hand over a schedule of what each port does. You end up with a cabinet you can maintain, whoever installed it.
Q.03 Do you also install the phones on top of the cabling?
Yes. Cabling is the first layer of what we do. The same team puts in the phone system, the call centre and the software on top, so there is no gap between a cabling contractor leaving and a phone vendor arriving.
Q.04 Do you work outside Gaborone?
Yes. We are based in Gaborone and work across Botswana. Call or WhatsApp with the location and the size of the job.
